Octopus

According to a random document I found, this poster was published by the Centre de propagande des républicains nationaux in 1937. The text says “All the countries of Europe have vanquished communism; only France remains in danger”.

Note: for convenience, I used an existing vectorized map of Europe’s coastline (which seems to use a slightly different map projection), instead of vectorizing the image of the coastline. That’s why the coastline in the original image doesn’t map the coastline in the vector version.
